The Black Hawk Area Special Education District recognizes the Black Hawk Area Special Education Association, IEA-NEA as the sole and exclusive negotiating agent as to hours, wages, and other terms and conditions of employment for all full-time and regularly employed part-time non-certified education support professionals.

Base Salary Increase Yr1 — Overtime compensation at time and one-half for work in excess of 40 hours per week
Non-Certified/Non-Licensed employees shall be paid time and one-half (1½) their hourly rate of pay for work in excess of forty (40) hours in any work week. There shall be no pyramiding of premium or overtime pay.
