Arbitration Binding — Binding arbitration through American Arbitration Association or Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service

The maximum cost of $7,200 per fiscal year (July 1- June 30) shall be equally disbursed ($2,400) in trimesters (Summer, Fall, Spring) with reimbursements for Summer being paid no later than September 30, Fall being paid no later than January 31, and Spring being paid no later than June 30.

As part of the established salary schedule, the Board agrees to withhold and pay, on behalf of each teacher, eighty-four hundredths of one percent (.84%) of the teacher's salary as the teacher's contribution to the Teacher Health Insurance Security Fund.
Evaluation
Evaluation Cycle Years — Faculty Evaluation Plan to be considered annually
The Faculty Evaluation Committee shall consist of an equal number of members to be appointed to represent SEA and administration. The committee will meet at least once (1) time annually. The committee will consider feedback on the Faculty Evaluation Plan to determine any necessary changes.

Grievance Steps — Three-step grievance procedure: Step One (Principal), Step Two (Superintendent), Step Three (Arbitration)
If the grievance is not resolved at Step 1, then the Association and/or employee may refer the grievance to the Superintendent or the Superintendent's official designee within ten (10) days after receipt of the Step 1 answer. If the Association and/or employee is not satisfied with the disposition of the grievance at Step Two, the Association and/or employee with consent of the Association may submit the grievance to final and binding arbitration.

Health Single Premium — Board contribution increase toward tax sheltered annuity for employees from 1999-2002 agreement
employees who were receiving, at the end of the Agreement in force from 1999 - 2002, a Board contribution toward a tax sheltered annuity (403(b) contribution) shall have their salaries increased permanently by $6,434 (w/TRS) for the length of the contract over the otherwise regularly scheduled salary.

Off Schedule Bonus Yr1 — Hiring bonus for certified position recruitment with no qualified candidates available
Upon certification by Superintendent that recruitment for a certified position found no qualified candidate available, Superintendent may offer prospective qualified candidate who has obtained certification a sign-on bonus not to exceed $6,000.00.
