Contract Days Teacher — 180 school days per work year
The Board shall establish a school calendar which does not exceed one hundred eighty (180) school days on or before the regular meeting of the Board in May. The school year shall include one hundred eighty (180) work days.

Dues Deduction — Upon timely receipt of an authorization with employee signature, the Board shall deduct current Association dues from pay in equal installments from the first through the eighteenth paychecks
Upon the timely receipt of an authorization with a signature of the employee from whose salary the dues are to be deducted, the Board shall deduct from such teacher's pay the current dues of the Association. Instructional Minutes Day — Approximately 450 instructional minutes per day (7.5 hours work day minus lunch)
The teacher work day shall start at 7:50 a.m. and end at 3:20 p.m. The work day shall not exceed seven and one-half (7 1/2) hours. During each work day, the teacher shall be entitled to a duty-free lunch period equal to that of the teacher's students, but not less than thirty (30) minutes.

New Teacher Training Days — Work year increased by two days for training and related activities

Part Time Seniority Fractional — Regularly employed part-time employees shall accrue fractional seniority calculated by dividing the employee's routine regular work week by the routine work week for that category of employee
Regularly employed part-time employees shall accrue fractional seniority. To calculate such seniority, the employee's routine regular work week, exclusive of overtime, shall be divided by the routine work week for that category of employee, and the resulting fractional seniority shall be credited.
