Academic Freedom — Teachers have right to choose learning materials and structure activities within professional judgment and Board parameters
Bargaining unit members shall have the right to choose and use learning materials and other resources and to structure learning activities according to their professional judgment within parameters established by the Board of Education and/or administration.

Accidental Death Dismemberment Insurance — $25,000 per teacher
The Board shall pay the premium for term life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance in the amount of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00) per teacher and twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) per.

Additional Attendance Days Pay — Additional attendance days (up to 3) paid at 1/180 of annual salary
Each teacher shall be paid for such days at a per diem rate of 1/180 of his/her annual salary. Such compensation shall be in addition to the teacher's regular salary.

Teachers may submit credits to receive a 4% pay increase in base salary in addition to annual salary increase for earning advanced education above the BA level.
