Part-time teachers shall be paid proportionate to the hours worked based upon the following formula: multiply the full-time salary by a fraction, the numerator of which is the hours worked by the part-time employee.

The contract year will be 180 days. If the Illinois General Assembly enacts legislation which increases the number of student instructional days in the school year or ISBE interpretation or guidance leads to deficiencies in the school calendar such that the contract year would need to be extended beyond 180 days, the Board and the Association agree to reopen this section.

Employee Premium Share Pct — Employee contribution share ranges from 0% to 4% of single premium increase depending on medical loss ratio
Beginning the 2025-2026 school year, if the medical loss ratio exceeds 100 points in the previous year, the employee contribution increase will be as follows: 0-10% increase of medical loss ratio = 0% employee share; 11-20% = 1%; 21-30% = 2%; 31-40% = 3%; 41-50% = 3.5%; 51%+ = 4%

Instructional Minutes Day — 7 hours and 40 minutes minimum teacher workday
If the meeting extends the teachers' workday beyond the required 7 hours and 40 minutes, the teacher will have the ability to utilize the extra time acquired as late arrival or early release dependent on the schedule of the building.
