ESP's employed after July 1, 1994, will serve a probationary period of ninety (90) working days. Employment during this probationary period is considered 'at will'. Upon successful completion of the 90 day probationary period, based on an evaluation, the ESP will begin to earn seniority on the 91st day.

Evaluation Criteria — All formal evaluations conducted openly with teacher knowledge; informal observations permitted; completion 75 days before year-end
All formal evaluation of classroom teaching performance of a teacher shall be conducted openly and with full knowledge of the teacher. Following each formal evaluation, a meeting shall be held between the evaluator and the teacher. All evaluations will be completed by 75 days prior to the end of the school year.

All teachers shall have a duty-free uninterrupted lunch period of at least thirty (30) minutes, but no more than forty-five (45) minutes. The intent is that every teacher receives no less than thirty (30) minutes for lunch, and a total of seventy-five (75) minutes planning and lunch daily.

Off Schedule Bonus Yr1 — Six percent (6%) increase in TRS creditable earnings
If a bargaining unit member satisfies the eligibility criteria above and gives the Board an irrevocable notice of resignation from employment for purposes of retirement by May 1st prior to the school year he/she wishes to begin receiving the Retirement Incentive salary increases set forth herein, the Board shall remove the bargaining unit member from the salary schedule and increase his/her TRS creditable earnings by six percent (6%) over the prior year's creditable earnings, for each of his/her remaining years

Overtime may accumulate to a maximum of two hundred forty (240) hours with the approval of the Superintendent. Overtime in excess of two hundred forty (240) shall be paid at the full overtime rate at the time of payment.
