Base Salary Increase Yr1 — 5.5% increase to base hourly wage in first year
The applicable longevity amount shall be added to the employee's base hourly wage following the 5.5% increase and shall become part of the employee's new base rate for future negotiations.

Base Salary Increase Yr2 — $1 increase plus 2% increase to new total in second year
In the second year of this Agreement, all bargaining unit members shall receive a $1 increase to their 2025-2026 wage. In addition, a 2% increase shall be applied to the new total and shall become part of the employee's new base rate for future negotiations.

Employees may use up to three (3) days per year for bereavement. Staff members reserve the right to use sick leave for the death of individuals covered by statute, allowing them to retain bereavement leave for individuals not covered by the statute.

The Board shall make every effort to limit class size to numbers designed to affect the best possible educational program for District #10 students. Ongoing monitoring of class size will continue. District will staff buildings to best account for changes in class.

Contract Days Teacher — School year and ten-month employees receive pay for all legal school holidays in their regular work calendar
School Year and Ten-month employees shall receive pay for all legal school holidays that fall within their regular work calendar.

The Board shall maintain the current health/medical insurance program. The Board will pay 100% of the single premium of a full-time eligible employee. The anniversary date for the insurance premium shall be Oct. 1.

Horizontal movement on the schedules shall not be restricted to hours leading to a higher degree. Subject to the Superintendent's approval, hours relating to a teacher's assigned duties may also result in horizontal movement.

Lunch Room Supervision — Teachers volunteering for lunch supervision compensated at $20 per lunch period
Teachers who elect to give their lunch period and volunteer to supervise students during the student cafeteria lunch period shall be compensated at the rate of twenty dollars ($20) per lunch period.

Mileage Reimbursement — IRS-approved mileage rate for work-related vehicle use; submitted by 28th of each month
Employees who are required by the District to use their personal vehicle for work-related purposes, such as traveling between buildings, attending required meetings, transporting materials, or performing duties at off-site locations, shall be reimbursed for mileage. Mileage shall be reimbursed at the IRS-approved rate in effect at the time the mileage was incurred.

Teachers who are assigned full time to PCS D-POD, excluding PE, Band, Music, and Chorus, will receive an additional stipend of $870 each year to account for an overload.

Employees will be allowed a maximum of fourteen (14) working days each year at full pay for sick leave, three of which may be used for personal leave.

Preparation periods equivalent to one regular class period per day shall be granted to teachers in high school and departmental assignments. Teachers in self-contained assignments shall be granted preparation time throughout the entire school year when their students receive scheduled music and library time.

Each driver shall be notified by October 1st of each year as to the number of credit hours received under IMRF for each route.

Rif Recall Years — positions becoming available within one calendar year from beginning of following school term shall be tendered to removed or dismissed employees
If the Board has any vacancies for the following school term or within one (1) calendar year from the beginning of the following school term, the positions becoming available shall be tendered to the employees removed or dismissed from that driving assignment.

The District shall provide the Union with the official seniority list for the bus drivers by February 1 of each year. Each driver will be given a copy and afforded the opportunity to notify the District of any mistakes in his/her placement on the list.

Sick Days Annual — Twelve-month employees receive up to 18 holidays per year and 3 paid days off during winter break
Full-time and part-time employees working a minimum of 30 hours per week will be paid for up to eighteen (18) holidays per year. These are holidays if observed by the district pursuant to the school calendar. In addition, these employees will receive three (3) paid days off during the school district's winter break.
