Bereavement Days — Six days absence per school year for death of immediate family member
All teachers shall be allowed up to a total of six (6) days absence per school year, up to three (3) days occurrence, without loss of pay, for the death of a member of the immediate family or household.

Contract Days Teacher — Teachers' day begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 3:25 p.m. for elementary and middle school teachers. Students' instructional day begins at 8:15 a.m. and ends at 3:15 p.m.

Snow Days Paid — Snow days declared by Board result in loss of pay, which shall be made up and paid at end of school year for library clerks, food service and paraprofessionals

Step Increase — Teachers may request approval for graduate coursework for tuition reimbursement and/or salary advancement
