When attendance at a funeral of a deceased person seems obligatory, an employee will be granted three (3) non-accumulating bereavement days per death of a covered family member.

Board shall contribute 90% of the individual health insurance premium and 100% of the individual life insurance premium for all bargaining unit members employed full-time and working at least 35 hours per week.

If an employee earns new/additional TRS creditable earnings in any year he/she is in the retirement program, which were not calculated in the retirement program payout at the start of the school year, the amount of the retirement benefit will be reduced to ensure the employee does not exceed a 6% increase in TRS creditable earnings.

Sick Days Annual — Teachers reaching 40 days accumulated sick leave receive 25-day annual allotment
A teacher that reaches an accumulation threshold of 40, 90, or 130, which results in awarding the teacher a normal annual allotment of 25, 30, or 45, respectively, leave days.

Sick Leave Bank Max Withdrawal — Maximum 25 days may be withdrawn from sick leave bank during one school year
Only members of the Sick Leave Bank shall be allowed to withdraw days from it. No member shall be allowed to withdraw more than twenty-five (25) days during one school year.

Retirement
Trs Tier — Severance payment for unpaid program balance not treated as TRS creditable earnings
In the event the entire program payment due the employee is not paid as creditable earnings during the notice period, the remaining balance will be paid to the employee as a severance payment. Such payment shall be made within 30 days after the employee's last workday and/or receipt of his/her last regular paycheck, whichever comes last. This severance payment will not be treated as creditable earnings under TRS.

Tuition Reimbursement — $5,000 annual pool for tuition reimbursement
The total amount expended by the District shall not exceed Five Thousand and 00/100 Dollars ($5,000.00) in any school term (July 1 to June 30), and money shall be expended from the pool in the order members of the bargaining unit apply and are approved.
