Employee Representation Discipline β€” Employee right to Association representation for misconduct, neglect, or violations leading to reprimand, suspension, demotion or discharge
Any employee charged with misconduct, neglect, or other violation that may lead to his/her reprimand, suspension, demotion or discharge shall have the right to be represented by the Association in any meeting conducted by the Board or Administration.

Evaluation Cycle Years β€” Tenured employees will receive a summative evaluation once every 3 years unless an employee has received a rating of 'Needs Improvement' or 'Unsatisfactory', in which case the employee shall receive a summative evaluation the year following receipt of the rating.

Each bargaining unit member, as a condition of his/her employment, on or before thirty (30) days from the date of commencement of duties for the school year shall join the Association or pay a fair share fee to the Association equivalent to the amount of dues uniformly required of members of the Association, including local, state and national dues.

When tentative agreements reached on all matters have been being negotiated, a written memorandum of understanding embodying final agreement shall be submitted to the full Boards of Education and the Association for ratification. When ratified by the Association and the Boards of Education, the Agreement shall become part of the official minutes.
