Arbitration Binding — Final and binding arbitration under Voluntary Labor Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association
If the Association is not satisfied with the disposition at Step III, or if the time limit for a response expires at that level without a written response from the Board of Education, the Association may submit the same grievance to final and binding arbitration under the Voluntary Labor Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association.

Employee Contributions: The current employee contribution rate is 4.50% of all earnings. The postponement of federal income tax is achieved by designating the 4.50% employee paid contribution as 'employer paid' for the purpose of the Internal Revenue Code Section, 414 (h).

From the teacher's salary amounts, the compensation generated on Appendices A and B, and any other TRS reportable income; the Board shall deduct and shelter the TRS mandated contribution of each employee's total reportable income and remit same to the Teacher Retirement System on each teacher's behalf in the amount of 4% (of 9%) for the 2022-2023 school year.
