Nurses (RN or LPN): Nurses shall work 185 days, including five (5) days scheduled prior to the start of the school year. The nurses workday shall be from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. including a thirty (30) minute duty free lunch and two (2) employment breaks of fifteen (15) minutes each.

The employer shall provide an optional payroll deduction plan for the DuPage Credit Union. All monies collected shall be forwarded to the DuPage Credit Union within ten (10) working days following each pay period with a printout of amount deducted for each employee.

As a voluntary retirement benefit for Teachers who qualify as noted above, the Board agrees to increase the Teacher's TRS creditable earnings by 6% over the Teacher's prior year's reported TRS creditable earnings for each remaining year of the Teacher's employment in the District.

The District maintains a video surveillance system in all buildings. The purpose of this system is to provide for the safety and security of all students, staff and members of the community. The system will not be used for staff performance evaluation. However, video images may be used for staff discipline as appropriate.

Tax Sheltered Annuities — Salary reductions for tax sheltered annuities shall be contributed on employee's behalf within five working days after each pay period
Salary reduction amounts shall be contributed on the employee's behalf into the annuity and/or custodial account selected by the employee within five (5) working days following each pay period with a written record of the amount provided to the employee.

Elementary Teachers (K-5) will be provided a duty-free lunch of 50 minutes and 220 minutes of self-directed preparation/planning during a regularly scheduled work week.

Retirement
Trs Tier — District plan available for 12 consecutive years of full-time service with TRS eligibility; retirement date by June 30, 2027
A retirement program shall be available for the duration of this agreement for Teachers who meet the following eligibility criteria: Complete at least twelve (12) consecutive years of full-time service in the employ of School District 16; and Eligible to retire and receive a regular pension annuity under TRS rules and regulations.

Union Representation Right — Employees have right to union representation at disciplinary meetings; Association representative may accompany employee
At the employee's request, the employee may be accompanied by an Association representative at any meeting, which could reasonably result in disciplinary action. The parties agree that this provision does not automatically apply to evaluation conferences or communication.
