The Board of Education of District No. 512, Vermilion County, Illinois, hereby recognizes the Salt Fork Education Association, an affiliate of IEA-NEA, as the sole and exclusive bargaining representative for all full-time and regularly employed part-time certificated/licensed staff and all full-time and regularly employed part-time Paraprofessionals employed by the Employer excluding all transportation, maintenance, custodial, and cook/lunchroom employees and secretaries, treasurer, bookkeeper, bus drivers, technology, registered nurses, and all supervisory, managerial, confidential and short-term employees.

Base Salary Increase Yr1 — Lane change may result in 6% pay increase; if within five years of retirement eligibility, maximum 6% increase with back-pay capped at 6% yearly
Should a lane change cause a Teacher to receive more than a 6% pay increase and should that Teacher, based on years of service, fall within five (5) years of being eligible for retirement, the Teacher shall initially be paid a maximum of a 6% pay increase.

When an Employee is required to appear before the Board concerning any matter that could adversely affect the Employee's employment, or the Employee's salary, the Employee shall be entitled to have a representative present. Further, when an Employee is required to appear before the Board, the Employee shall be advised in writing of the reasons for the requirement at least twenty-four (24) hours before the meeting.

Employees shall have the right to organize, join and assist the Association. Sick Days Annual — 13 sick days for 10-19 years of service
At the beginning of each school year, each Employee shall be credited with the corresponding number of days of sick leave as shown in the chart below without loss of pay. Years 10-19: 13 days.

Sick Leave Max Days — Accumulated personal leave days not used shall convert to sick leave; maximum 5 days total as personal leave
Each unused personal leave day shall accumulate as part of an Employee's personal leave to a total of no more than five (5) days. If, at any time, an Employee's personal leave total shall exceed five (5), the days in excess of five (5) shall be no longer available as personal leave and shall be converted to accumulated sick leave.
