In the event that the Association desires to send teacher or paraprofessional representatives to local, state, or national conferences, or on other business pertinent to Association affairs, these representatives shall be excused without loss of salary for a collective maximum of fifteen (15) days.

The Association shall be given thirty (30) minutes within the contractual workday to hold a general membership meeting on the first day of school and the last day of school. The meeting shall take place at a time mutually agreed upon by the CCEA President and Superintendent.
