Additional Class Overload Pay — Additional class beyond 6: 10% of scheduled annual salary per additional class per semester; 20% per additional class per year
District can offer additional class assignments beyond normal load to tenured staff, or offer to non-tenured if tenured decline. Compensation at per-semester rate of 10% of teacher's scheduled annual salary for each additional class per semester or 20% annually.

The Board of Education shall pay for pre-approved course work both on and off campus by the teacher as approved by the Superintendent with a maximum of nine (9) credit hours per teacher, per fiscal year (July 1 – June 30).

Except in the case of an unexpected health event of the Teacher or his/her spouse or minor child, any Teacher who resigns from the District after August 1 of a given year and leaves the District short-staffed is required to pay the District $1,500 as liquidated damages. Such amount will be withheld from the Teacher's final paycheck. If the final paycheck is not sufficient to allow for $1,500 to be withheld, the Teacher must repay the balance within two weeks
