Adoption Leave Duration — Parental leave for adoption or foster placement, same duration as maternity leave
Parental leave may be granted to any Employee who furnishes satisfactory evidence of pending adoption or foster placement proceedings and who applies in writing to the Superintendent. The application for leave must be made upon initiation of the proceedings. The duration of this leave shall be the same as for maternity leave.
