Cafeteria lunches are available to AEA members free of charge, with the cost being covered by the District.

Contract Days Teacher — School year: max 185 days including 176 student attendance days, 4 workshop/in-service days, 5 emergency days. Work year: max 180 days
The school year calendar shall consist of not more than one hundred eighty-five (185) days which shall include one hundred seventy-six (176) student attendance days, four (4) workshop/in-service days and five (5) emergency days. Unused emergency days shall not become work days. The work year for employees shall not exceed one hundred eighty (180) days

Duty Free Lunch Minutes — Duty-free lunch period equal to students' lunch but no less than 30 minutes
All employees shall have a duty-free lunch period equal to that of the students' lunch period but no less than thirty (30) minutes.

Evaluation Cycle Years — Non-tenured teachers evaluated at least twice per year; tenured teachers evaluated at least once every other school year
The classroom teaching performance of all regular, full-time, non-tenured teachers shall be formally evaluated at least two times a year. Tenured employees shall be formally evaluated at least once during every other school year.

Employees shall be reimbursed for all superintendent-approved mileage at the same rate approved by the Internal Revenue Service.
