Arbitration Binding — Binding arbitration required; costs split equally by Board and Union
The grievance will be submitted to binding arbitration upon written demand by the Federation made within 10 working days of the Superintendent's decision. The arbitrator shall be a neutral party agreed to by both sides and whose expenses and fees shall be paid equally by the Board and the Union.

All district guidelines shall be in compliance with the Illinois Family Bereavement Leave Act (FBLA), 820 ILCS 154/2. Any full-time employee may be excused for whatever number of days necessary for the funeral of his or her immediate family. Any days in excess of three (3) days will be charged to sick leave.

A copy of the teacher evaluation form and procedure in effect shall be provided to each teacher being evaluated at the beginning of the school year. All teachers will be evaluated by the same form and procedure.
