If a grievance is improperly filed or is not related to a dispute over language contained in this Agreement, it cannot be filed past Step B. If the Association insists on carrying an improper grievance further than Step B, it agrees to pay all costs.

Association Leave Days — 5 Association Leave days per year
In order to conduct Association business, the Association will have five (5) Association Leave days per year. Any employee using this leave shall be paid the day's pay by the Board. The Association will reimburse the Board for the cost of the substitute teacher and give at least five (5) days notice.

Covid Leave Days — Up to 10 paid administrative absence days for health department mandated quarantine
The parties agree that a bargaining unit employee will be permitted to use up to a maximum of ten (10) paid administrative absence days for a health department mandated quarantine for the employee only.
Evaluation
Evaluation Cycle Years — Tenured employees formally evaluated at least twice every two school years
Tenured employees shall be formally evaluated at least twice (2) every two (2) school years.
Grievance
Grievance Steps — Three-step grievance procedure: Step A (supervisor), Step B (superintendent), Step C (arbitration)
Grievance must be filed to supervisor within 20 days; Step A meeting within 10 days with response in 5 days. Step B appeal to Superintendent within 7-12 days with meeting within 5 days and decision within 5 days. Step C final and binding arbitration with 30-day deadline.

Health Family Premium — Single with Dependent or Family Plan 2021-2022

Instructional Minutes Day — No employee shall be required to have more than 315 minutes of student contact time per day

Off Schedule Bonus Yr1 — Cash option in lieu of Board paid insurance
Employees who decline coverage under the District's insurance plan may elect a cash option in the amount of $6,000 in each contract year in lieu of Board paid insurance.

Each employee shall be granted four (4) days personal leave without loss of pay per year. Requests for personal leave days shall be made in writing to the administration as soon as possible but no later than two (2) working days before the leave

Retirement Pickup Pct — Board of Education will pay 9% of each full-time certified employee's creditable earnings to TRS
The Board of Education will pay 9% of each full-time certified employee's $6,000 (cash option) creditable earnings as the employee's contribution to the Teachers' Retirement System (TRS) regardless of whether the employee elects Board paid insurance or the cash option.
