Evaluation Cycle Years — Tenured teachers rated excellent/proficient evaluated at least once in 3 years
any tenured teacher whose performance is rated as either 'excellent' or 'proficient' shall be evaluated at least once in the course of the three years after receipt of the rating.

Grievance Steps — Three-member appeal panel for evaluation disputes
A panel composed of three (3) members shall be established to consider the appeals of teacher evaluation ratings. All members shall be qualified evaluators.

Health Single Premium — Board provides $20,000 life insurance per teacher; Board pays full cost
The Board shall also provide Life Insurance benefits of $20,000 per teacher. The Board shall pay the full cost of such coverage.

They will also receive an annual Health Savings Account allotment of $3,100 for single coverage or $4,200 per year for family coverage starting January 15th of each contract year.

Teachers are permitted to take up to twelve (12) hours per contract year with full tuition and fees comparable to NIU or ISU fully refunded upon submission of a paid invoice and transcript showing a B or above.
