The Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service shall be requested to submit simultaneously to both parties an identical list of seven (7) names of persons from their grievance arbitration panel, who are members of the National Academy of Arbitrators and are residents of Illinois. The arbitrator shall submit in writing his decision to the employer and the union within thirty (30) calendar days following the close of hearing unless the parties agreed to an extension thereof.

For the 2025-2026 school year, a teacher with twenty (20) years of experience and a Master's degree with no additional education hours will receive the MA, Step 19 salary of $94,000.

All controversies arising over the interpretation or application of a particular clause of this Contract shall be verbally presented to the Superintendent or Principal, within ten (10) working days. If not resolved within five (5) working days, individual commits said dispute to writing. If failure to agree, case placed on board agenda. Should grievance not be settled at board level, binding grievance arbitration will be sent to FMCS within thirty (30) calendar days after the 3rd step.
