Arbitration Binding — Arbitration through American Arbitration Association with binding decision
Each party will bear the full cost for its representation in the arbitration. The fees and the expenses of the arbitrator and American Arbitration Association shall be shared equally by the parties.

When a regular employee is ordered to report for work at an operating cafeteria, the employee shall be compensated for no less than four (4) hour's pay. The Board hereby employs the Assistant Superintendent for one (1) year, commencing July 1, 2025, and terminating on June 30, 2026. The Assistant Superintendent shall be paid an annual salary of $153,375.

The annual salary paid to the Superintendent for each subsequent contract year shall be such an amount that provides the Superintendent with a six percent (6%) increase in TRS creditable earnings over his TRS creditable earnings in the immediately prior contract year.

All employees will receive a step increase plus 4% for year 2024-2025, a step increase plus 4% for year 2025-2026, and a step increase plus 4% for year 2026-2027 of the contract.

All other leaves granted to certified employees of the District, pursuant to their collective bargaining agreement, will also be available to the Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum.

A catastrophic illness or injury is defined, for the purposes of this contractual statement, as being an illness or injury to a tenured Licensed Employee which would prevent the licensed tenured employee from reporting to work for a minimum of six weeks.

Contract Days Teacher — Regular workweek for day work shall be 7:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. with one-half hour for lunch. Night work shall be eight continuous hours with quitting time no later than midnight.

Grievance Steps — Grievance may be submitted directly to arbitration if Superintendent and Union mutually agree in writing; Class grievance involving two or more employees may be filed at Step 2
If the Superintendent and the Union mutually agree in writing, a grievance may be submitted directly to arbitration. Class grievance involving two or more employees or two or more supervisors, and grievances involving an administrator above the building level may be initially filed by the Union at Step 2.
