Aad Fall Spring Count — Two Assistant Athletic Directors per school during fall and spring sports seasons
During the fall and spring sports seasons, there will be two AADs per school. During the winter and summer sports season, there will be one AAD per school per season.

Additional Duty Stipend Cap — Additional athletics and extra duty stipends capped at 6% increase over prior year creditable earnings
Teachers who have at least 30 years of TRS creditable service (including both D155 and any creditable service from prior employment) and who take on a new athletic or extra duty stipend that will cause the teacher's total TRS creditable earnings to exceed 6% over the prior year's creditable earnings will take on the new stipend position on a part-time/pro-rated basis so as not to exceed a 6% increase

Adl Stipend Payment — ADLs who are teacher of record for 26-29 periods will be paid reduced stipend of $100.00 per period
ADL's who are the teacher of record for twenty-six (26) to twenty-nine (29) periods will be paid a reduced stipend equal to $100.00 per period. The building principal may assign an ADL to perform fifteen (15) periods of internal substituting with no extra compensation.

Arbitration Binding — Final and binding arbitration
either the Board or the CHESS Association shall have the right to appeal the dispute to final and binding arbitration under and in accordance with the Voluntary Labor Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association.

The Association and the Administration recognize the importance of communication in maintaining good relationships and agree to meet for the purpose of discussion. Meetings shall be held periodically with reasonable written notice stating the item or items to be discussed at such meetings.

Association Conference Days — Eight (8) days district-wide may be used for Association representatives attending local, state, or national conferences
In the event that the Association desires to send representatives to local, state, or national conferences or on other business pertinent to Association affairs, these representatives shall be excused without loss of salary, providing the Association reimburses the district for the cost of the substitute(s). Eight (8) days district-wide may be used for these purposes.

The president of the District 155 Education Association shall be released for five (5) periods per week from a non-classroom assignment to work on liaison and other school business. The president may be released for up to ten (10) additional periods per week at the discretion of the Association.

Employees shall be granted up to five (5) days leave for death of an immediate family member. The immediate family is defined as spouse, child, parent, sibling, grandparent, grandchild, or in-law relative.

Upon completing 60 days of active employment, custodians are eligible for reimbursement of up to $150 per fiscal year for footwear. Grounds and Maintenance will receive up to $250 per fiscal year for safety toed footwear.

Evaluation Cycle Years — Unsatisfactory or progressing summative evaluation results in 50% raise; proficient or commendable results in full raise
An unsatisfactory or progressing summative evaluation will result in the employee receiving 50% of the raise given to other employees that year. A proficient or commendable summative evaluation will result in the employee receiving the full raise.
