Failure to accept an offered substitute position for a period of time exceeding nine months will result in your Shiloh AESOP account being deactivated and will result in removal from Shiloh's substitute list.

At Will Employment — All substitutes are hired on an at-will basis
The undersigned hereby acknowledges and agrees that nothing contained in the employee handbook including policies, practices, and benefits stated herein are intended to create any contractual right, express or implied, to employment or to any particular term or condition of employment. All substitutes are hires on an at-will basis that is not altered by this handbook.
Compensation
Base Salary Increase Yr1 — Regular rate is $125 per day for substitutes not on extended assignment
The pay rates for substitutes are as follows: Regular rate is $125 per day. This rate will be paid to all substitutes not on an extended assignment.

Mandatory This Contribution — Mandatory contribution to Teachers' Health Insurance Security Insurance Fund (THIS) required
There is also a deduction for the Teachers' Health Insurance Security Insurance Fund (THIS). This fund finances the Teachers' Retirement Program.
Compensation
Off Schedule Bonus Yr1 — Extended assignment pay increases to $140 per diem on the 31st day without break in service
On the 31st day of an extended assignment, without any break in service, the substitute pay will increase to the per diem rate of $140.

Retirement Pickup Pct — 9% of all earnings shall be sheltered for contribution to Illinois Teachers' Retirement System
