Contract Days Teacher — Normal weekly teaching load not to exceed 24 teaching periods and 8 unassigned preparation periods
The normal weekly teaching load will not exceed twenty-four (24) teaching periods and eight (8) unassigned preparation periods based upon current modified block teaching schedule.

Creditable Earnings Limit — Maximum 6% annual increase in TRS creditable earnings across all compensation and benefits
An Eligible Employee's TRS creditable earnings shall not increase from one school year to the next by more than 6% or otherwise be increased so as to create Board liability for any portion of retirement annuity

Dues Deduction — Dues deducted from 10 out of 20 paychecks beginning in September
the Board shall deduct such dues from the regular salary check of the certificated staff member for each month for ten (10) out of twenty (20) paychecks, beginning in September of each year.

Step I informal; Step II principal/designee within 20 days; Step III superintendent within 10 days; Step IV board within 20 days; Step V arbitration within 10 days of Step IV decision.

Health Single Premium — Board contributes 100% of the single premium of the HMO plan (year 2023-2024 rate), vision, dental and life insurance
the Board shall contribute an amount equal to 100% of the single premium of the HMO plan (year 2023-2024 rate), vision, dental and life insurance toward the cost of the insurance elected by the certificated staff member for all three years of the contract.

Hsa Employer Contribution — Additional $500 per employee available for all 3 years to be used for health insurance premium coverage greater than District contribution
For all employees who enroll in the health Insurance option, an additional $500 per employee will be available for all 3 years of said contract to be used to pay for part of the insurance premium for coverage elected by the certificated staff member that is greater than the amount of the District contribution stated.

Instructional Minutes Day — 7:30 A.M. to 3:15 P.M. with 11:30 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. student dismissal for staff development
The normal workday for certified staff members shall begin at 7:30 A.M. and shall end at 3:15 P.M. Staff development sessions will be scheduled utilizing 11:30 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. student dismissal schedule.

Lane Advancement Allowed — Horizontal movement based on satisfactory completion of graduate courses from NCATE-accredited college or university
Horizontal movement on the Salary Schedule shall be based upon satisfactory completion of graduate courses from a college or university approved by the NCATE.

Off Schedule Bonus Yr1 — Teacher with more than normal load (6+ periods) compensated $5,300 per year for each period above 6 periods
Any teacher with more than the normal teaching load (employee teaching more than 6 periods on the current 8 period schedule) the employee will be compensated $5,300 for the school year for each period taught above.

Personal Days Annual — Unused personal days accumulate as sick leave at end of school year; upon departure, unused days reimbursed at current per diem rate
Unused personal days will accumulate as sick leave at the end of each school year. Upon departure from the district, other than dismissal for cause, staff members shall be reimbursed for unused personal leave days.

Retirement Incentive 3 Year — 6% salary increase for 3-year retirement incentive with 15+ years service
For a three-year retirement incentive, certified staff member with 15 or more years of full-time certified staff member service shall receive six percent (6%) increase in total creditable earnings

The Board shall pay on behalf of certified staff member the sum equal to and in satisfaction of the certified staff member's statutorily required member contribution to TRS (9.0%)

At the beginning of each school year, each full-time certificated staff member shall be credited with fifteen (15) days of sick leave, the unused portion of which shall accumulate from year to year to a maximum of 360 days.
